Grey Sky Media is a software studio in Roseville, California. We design and build custom websites, web applications, native apps, and AI-powered tools. We've been doing this for twenty-six years. We still get a kick out of it.
Four steps. Same since 2000. The names change, the discipline doesn't.
Before we propose anything, we sit with you and understand the business — what it does, who it serves, what's working, and where it leaks. The most useful thing we can do early is ask better questions.

We design the system on paper, then on screen. Wireframes, data models, and an honest scope. We'd rather find the hard problems before we write the first line of code.

We build with test-driven discipline, security as a baseline, and ship weekly. You see the work as it lands — not in a big reveal at the end.

After launch, we instrument what matters and watch how it's actually used. The first version is rarely the last. We adjust based on what the data says, not what we hoped for.

TDD isn't a buzzword here. It's how we sleep at night when your platform goes live.
Secrets in Cloudflare, never in GitHub. Auth on every endpoint. Boring discipline, repeated.
Code, data, credentials, infrastructure. You own everything we build. We're not a lock-in shop.
Flat fees on small work. Honest estimates on big work. If we don't know, we say "we don't know yet."
